 Mobile Banking- "OBCmPAY" :

Terms & Conditions

 

Who can avail this facility :

Any Customer of  Bank having android and Iphone irrespective of the Mobile Service Provider viz. Airtel, MTNL, Vodaphone, BSNL, Idea, Reliance etc., can register for "OBCmPAY" and avail following services :

  • Self sign up(Registration) through debit card in Mobile banking application
  • Mpin Reset through Debit card, Debit Card Pin reset, Debit Card Hotlisting through Mobile Banking Application.
  • Operative account balances, nominee details, MMID generation and Mini statement
  • Term deposit accounts(FD,RD and VPD) details
  • Loan account details and statement request
  • Online FD account opening
  • Transfer to Loan account and VPD account
  • Demat Linking through Mobile App and view of Demat Account Details
  • Statement Request and View of Packing Credit accounts Detail.
  • Fund transfer within OBC bank both Registered and Quick ( to own accounts, mobile and other accounts in OBC)
  • Fund transfer to other bank(NEFT and IMPS)
  • IMPS Fund transfer( to Account, Mobile, Aadhar )
  • Offline Service Request for credit Card, Cheque Book, Loan and opening of new account and account statement
  • Cheque Stop Service (single and multiple)
  • Bill payment(Mobile recharge , Dish TV recharge, Electricity, Insurance and Gas Bill Payment)

What are the prerequisites do I need to fulfill before having OBC mPAY service on my mobile?

The prerequisites are as follows:

o    You must be an account holder of Oriental Bank of Commerce to avail mobile banking services and should have registered for OBC mPAY services through ATM, Internet Banking ,Self sign up using Debit Card through OBCMPay app or your branch.

o    You must be either a prepaid/post-paid mobile subscriber.

o    You  must be subscribed to internet or should be able to access internet using Wifi

o    Your Account number should be registered with the Bank for SMS Alerts

What is the OS Version restriction of OBC-MPay?

  • For android users, OBC-MPay will work on android version 4.4 and above.
  • For IPhone users, OBC-MPay will work on IOS version 6 and above.

 

The customers can avail OBCmPAY services by registering either by visiting the Branch , by registering through ATM or OBC Ibanking.

Registration through Branches-

Customers are required to submit duly filled application form for enabling Mobile Banking services. The application is available at Google Playstore or Apple store. You can download the application.

 

Registration through ATMs of Bank-

 

Customers can alternatively visit any ATM of Oriental Bank of Commerce and register themselves using their debit card. The Process of registering for Mobile Banking through ATM is given hereunder-

 

  • Visit the nearest ATM of Oriental Bank of Commerce
  • Insert/dip ATM card in the ATM
  • SelectOthers>Mobile Banking>Registrationoption in the ATM Menu
  • ATM prompts to enter Mobile number
  • Enter 10 digit Mobile number and select <Confirm> button
  • ATM prompts to re-confirm Mobile number
  • Please re-enter the same 10 digit Mobile number and select <Confirm> button
  • ATM prompts to select the Accounts (only one account is permitted per mobile for Mobile Banking facility).
  • ATM prompts to enter ATM Card's PIN. Enter the PIN
  • If entered details are valid, ATM displays "Your Mobile Number Registered successfully" and you will get MPin shortly in your message inbox.
  • If the details are invalid, ATM Displays "Registration Failure"

 

After successful registration customers would get an SMS in their registered mobile number containing Mpin for Mobile Banking.

 

Registration using internet banking:

 Login to Internet banking website and select mobile banking registration. After applying successfully, you will receive an SMS on your mobile with mPIN.

 

Self sign up using Debit card on OBC Mobile Banking application

  • Download the application from Google app store or apple store and install it
  • Enter your mobile no. and validate the OTP received
  • Now you will get the online form for registration
  • Enter account no, Last six digits of card no, expiry date, Name, Date of birth or Pan no. for registration.
  • You will get success message and MPin on your registered mobile no
  • Now change old Mpin and login by entering customer id and login password.

 

 

How much time will it take for completing the registration process?

If you register through internet banking, ATM machine and Self Sign up, you can access the OBC mPAY mobile banking services instantly. From branch, Mobile Banking registration is completed within a stipulated timeframe (as decided by the bank) from the date of submission of your application form.

 

How can I login into OBC Mpay app?

You have to enter your customer id linked to your account no and login password for login into OBC MPay app (You can get customer Id printed on OBC passbook or visit nearby branch)

 

 

Installation & Activation Procedure

How do I activate the OBC mPAY service?

 

For New users

 

  • You can activate the OBC mPAY mobile banking services by entering your mobile number. An OTP SMS will be sent to your mobile number for authentication.
  • Once OTP is auto retrieved(Or you can enter it manually ), click on submit button.
  • Application will prompt you to change mPIN of your choice. Here Old mPIN is what is received in registration success SMS.
  • After mPIN is set, Please set login password as instructions given in note. Once Login password is set,there will be Login Page.
  • In login page, please enter your Customer ID and login password which was set earlier.
  • After successful verification, for very first time , an OTP SMS will be sent to your mobile number for authentication. Once OTP is auto retrieved click on submit button.
  • On OTP is verified, You will be successfully navigating mobile banking home screen from where you can perform mobile banking transactions.

 

For existing users

 

  • You can activate the OBC mPAY mobile banking services by entering your mobile number. An OTP SMS will be sent to your mobile number for authentication.
  • Once OTP is auto retrieved click on submit button. Application will prompt you to verify your mPIN.
  • After mPIN is verified, please set login password as instructions given in note.
  • Once Login password is set, there will be Login Page.
  • In login page please enter your Customer ID and login password which was set earlier. After successful verification, for very first time, an OTP SMS will be sent to your mobile number for authentication.
  • Once OTP is auto retrieved (or manually entered), click on submit button. On OTP is verified, you will be successfully navigating mobile banking home screen from where you can perform mobile banking transactions.

 

IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) Through NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India)

NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) has launched the services of IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) for integrating Mobile Banking Services being offered by various Banks through NFS network thereby facilitating instant Inter Bank fund transfer and credit to beneficiary account round the clock on all days.

In order to facilitate instant Inter Bank fund transfer to our customers, we have also integrated with IMPS services of NPCI. This service shall be supplementary to the services of Inter Bank fund transfer services currently being offered by Mobile Banking services using NEFT platform.

 

Features and Functions of IMPS services-

IMPS offers an instant, 24X7, interbank electronic fund transfer service through mobile phones. IMPS facilitate customers to access their bank accounts and put high interbank fund transfers in a secured manner with immediate confirmation features.

  • It enable bank customers to  access their banks accounts and remit funds
  • Making payment simpler just with the mobile number, account no or aadhar of the beneficiary.

 

What type of transactions customer can make through OBC-MPay?

 

In Fund Transfer Option, there are 7 choices:

 

1.    Own account Fund Transfer: By selecting accounts from drop down and entering amount. By entering Mpin, you can transfer to Loan account and VPD also.

2.    OBC Bank-Mobile:

Ø  Registered fund transfer (Registering beneficiary by entering his name and mobile no).After addition, you can transfer money by selecting beneficiary from dropdown, entering amount and MPin.

Ø   Quick fund transfer (Entering Beneficiary Mobile No. and amount).You can transfer by entering MPin.

 

3.    OBC Bank-Account:

Ø  Registered fund transfer (Registering beneficiary by entering his name and account no). After addition, you can transfer money by selecting beneficiary from dropdown, entering amount and MPin.

Ø    Quick fund transfer (Entering Beneficiary Acc No. and amount).

 You can transfer by entering MPin.

4.    Other Bank:

Ø  Registered fund transfer (Registering beneficiary by entering his name, account no, account type and Payee IFSC code). After addition, you can transfer money by selecting beneficiary from dropdown, entering amount and MPin.

Ø   Quick fund transfer (Name, Entering Beneficiary Acc No., account type, IFSC and amount). You can transfer by entering MPin.

5.    IMPS Account:

Ø  Registered fund transfer (Registering beneficiary by entering his name, account no. and IFSC). After addition, you can transfer money by selecting beneficiary from dropdown, entering amount and MPin.

Ø  Quick fund transfer (Entering Beneficiary account no , IFSC and amount). You can transfer by entering MPin.

6.    IMPS Mobile:

Ø  Registered fund transfer (Registering beneficiary by entering his name, mobile no. and MMID). After addition, you can transfer money by selecting beneficiary from dropdown, entering amount and MPin.

Ø   Quick fund transfer (Entering Beneficiary Mobile No , MMID and amount). You can transfer by entering MPin.

7.    IMPS Aadhar:

Ø  Registered fund transfer (Registering beneficiary by entering his name and Aadhar no.). After addition, you can transfer money by selecting beneficiary from dropdown, entering amount and MPin.

  • Quick fund transfer (Entering Beneficiary Aadhar no. and amount).

You can transfer by entering MPin.

 

You can check transaction history of last 30 days also in each type of transfer by clicking on transaction history button.

 

How do I create Fixed deposit?

  • Go to accounts tab and at the bottom there is an option of create FD account or in accounts tab there is option of term deposit. By clicking on '+'sign, you can create new FD account.
  • After creating , you can link FD account by clicking manage account link in term deposit and see all the details and view nominee details also.

 

 Fund Transfer : Within the Bank

• Mobile to Mobile

(One time registration of beneficiary)

  • Select beneficiary registration
  • Enter beneficiary mobile number (beneficiary has to be a registered OBC mPAY customer) and mPin to complete beneficiary registration.

(Transfer of Funds)

  • Go to Payment option and invoke the list of beneficiaries.
  • Select beneficiary, Enter Amount and your 4 digit mPin.
  • Get transaction successful message on screen and inbox.
  • Beneficiary also gets an SMS.

 

  • Mobileto Account

(One time registration of beneficiary)

  • Select beneficiary registration
  • Enter the 14 digit a/c number of the beneficiary
  • System fetches his name for your confirmation
  • Confirm and complete registration

(Transfer of Funds)

  • Go to payment option and invoke the list of beneficiary
  • Select beneficiary, Enter Amount and your 4 digit mPin.
  • Get transaction successful message on screen and inbox.

  

Fund Transfer: Other Banks

 NEFT

(One time registration of beneficiary)

  • Enter Beneficiary a/c no in other bank
  • Enter other bank IFSC code
  • Enter a nick name for the beneficiary
  • Complete registration

(Transfer of Funds)

  • Go to Payment option and invoke the list of beneficiaries.
  • Select beneficiary, Enter Amount and your 4 digit mPin.
  • Get transaction successful message on screen and inbox.
  • Funds are transferred to the other bank account through NEFT mode by Bank.

 

How can I link my Loan account in OBC Mpay?

  • Go to Accounts tab, Loan tab. Here you can link your loan account by clicking manage account tab.
  • After linking you can see detail of loan account by clicking down arrow and also request for "statement of loan".

 

How can I check balance of operative accounts and Mini statement and generate MMID?

Go to accounts tab, Operative account Tab. Here you see all the operative accounts linked to your customer Id. By clicking on down arrow, you can generate mini statement, generate MMID and view nominee details.

 

 What if I forgot login password?

In login page, click on forgot password link. Please enter your mPIN and set login password as per given instructions in note.

 How can I reset ATM pin using Mobile Banking app?

  • Go to left corner sidebar->Select Card services-> Debit card pin generation
  • You have to select your account no, last 6 digits of card no, card expiry date , set ATM Pin and confirm the transaction by entering Mpin.

 

 How can I reset Mobile Banking M-pin using Mobile Banking app?

  • Go to left corner sidebar->Select Settings-> Forget MPin
  • You have to select your account no, last 6 digits of card no, card expiry date and confirm the transaction by entering ATM pin.

 

 How can I Hotlist Debit Card using Mobile Banking app?

  • Go to left corner sidebar->Select Settings-> Debit Card Hotlisting
  • You have to select your account no, last 6 digits of card no, card expiry date and confirm the transaction by entering Mpin.

 

How can I issue a stop payment order on an issued check?

  • Go to mobile application ,click on  left upper corner, cheque Services-> Stop Check.
  • Enter Check Number and tap OK for confirmation.
  • After entering and submitting the valid details, immediately, you will receive a confirmation message for stop payment on the target check.

How do I know my Check status?

  • Go to mobile application dashboard, click on  left upper corner cheque Services -> Check Status.
  • Enter Check Number and tap OK for confirmation.
  • After entering and submitting the valid details, immediately, you will receive the Check Status message.

How can I link Demat account using Mobile Banking app?

  • Go to Accounts tab-> Demat account-> Link account-> Enter DP id and client id, then submit.
  • This request will go to backend at depository department and will be processed within 24 hours.
  • After linking, you can view your Demat account details.

 

What are the limits of fund transfer through OBC-MPay?

  • Amount per transaction per day: Rs. 50000/-
  • Total amount of fund transfer per day: Rs.100000/
  • Amount per transaction per day through IMPS: Rs 50000/-
  • Total amount of fund transfer per day through IMPS: Rs. 100000/-
  • Minimum amount per transaction: Rs. 10/-

I have forgotten my MPIN. What do I do?

  • Visit your nearest branch and submit form for resetting your mPIN.
  • You can reset your M-pin instantly through net banking .
  • You can reset your MPIN through OBCMpay app by going dashboard-> Settings ->

Forget Mpin, here by entering debit card details linked to your account, you can reset Mpin.

How can we open Fixed deposit through OBC-MPay?

  • Go to accounts->click on Open New FD at the bottom or term deposit and click on '+' sign
  • Tap on Fixed deposit and online form for opening FD will open
  • Select the scheme ,time period and deposit amount ,account to be debited
  • Click on fetch interest rate button and enter the Nominee details

 

What if I lose my OBC mPAY application loaded mobile phone? Whom do I report immediately?

  • If you lose your mobile phone, you should inform your nearest banking branch about the same. They disable your Mobile Banking facility, immediately, to avoid any further unforeseen financial damage.
  • You can also disable through net banking or mail to mbank@obc.co.in with your account no and mobile no from registered mail id.

How do I deregister the OBC mPAY service?

  • You need to visit your nearest Bank ATM and choose de-register option from OBC mPAY service or through net-banking.
  • You can deregister though Mobile Banking also by going to left corner sidebar and

             Select settings-> deregistration.
